So, it's almost two decades since the Soviet Union collapsed. And for a while the West were the only real external influence left to freely grab resources from Africa with our beloved continent getting very little in return. However, the recent rise of China as an Economic and Technological superpower has given rise to new concerns about the scramble for African resources.
